Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL: All the rumors in one place (Updated: July 23)

When Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL leaked last year, it did not stop. At the top of the usual potato camera pictures and pricing information, we saw Google leave the phone in Lyft and someone posted a complete video about the storage cancellation before the show time.

Based on some early leaks, this year seems to be repeated with Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. We still have three months before Google unveils both devices, but we already know the shape of the phones and have an idea of some of its unique features.

Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL: Name and date of issue

After many leaks, Google moved forward and publicly participated in Google Pixel 4 (more about this below). However, the company has officially confirmed the name of the Pixel phone 4. This is not a big surprise because it follows Google's RIP Pixel.

Historically, Google hosts its hardware events in October. Last year, Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL were announced on October 9 and were made available for purchase on October 18.

Giant has not announced plans to reveal Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. However, we have leaked information from Verizon indicating that Google will comply with the usual October schedule for its final release.

Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL: Design

We took a look at Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL when OnLeaks CAD participated in a CAD presentation in June. This infusion has been confirmed by Google.

In particular, we learned that the devices will include a large camera on the phone. This is interesting because it makes the following pixels almost identical to the leaked offerings of the iPhone 2019.

Since Google has not only harassed phones, we do not have confirmed reports about Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. However, we have seen an early leak from OnLeaks and the information Lew shares from Unbox Therapy that suggests Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will not be reckless with their big feet and small arches.

Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL: Specifications and Features

At this time, you do not know much about Pixel 4 or Pixel 4 XL after the surface level. This means we know how Google devices look, but we do not have much.

Just like other 2019 tournaments, Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL are likely to ship with the latest Qualcomm SoC. This means that both phones are likely to be turned on by Snapdragon 855. Unfortunately, we do not have any information about the size of the battery. We also do not expect Google to re-enter the headphone jack (again displays this option).

We have a rumor about RAM

The same source points out that the common RAM is that there will be slight flaws in screen resolution on Pixel 4 phones. The Pixel 4 resolution can be 2280 × 1,080, compared to Pixel 3, which was 2160 × 1,080. At the same time, the Pixel 4 XL can have a greater resolution of 3,040 × 1440, and slightly upgrade to a resolution of 2960 × 1440 on 3 x 3 pixels.


According to XDA developers, we can see a feature similar to the real tone to automatically adjust the white balance. The publication found a placeholder to switch the white balance display, which can provide something similar to what is found on many Apple devices. This will allow you to adjust the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL screens based on ambient light.

Google has long been rumored to be working on facial recognition as a form of biometric security. We took a look at the feature in the fourth beta version of Android Q4. According to the Unbox treatment, both Pixel 4 devices will contain five face sensors for Face ID.

We are confident that the Pixel 4 lineup will have for the first time a variety of rear camera lenses. We have seen rumors that one of these investigations could be a 16 megapixel telephoto lens.

But the most important rumors in the devices are the inclusion of a radar sensor, which can add hands-free signals on phones. The icon that is being monitored in Android Q beta is the "Aware" sensor, which can silence and skip media files. By combining these two pieces, it's easy to imagine Google adding all sorts of small gestures to control Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL.
